Based on the novel of the same name, this compelling story illustrates the escalating conflicts between rich bullies from an affluent south side neighborhood and boys from poor families who live on the north side of town. This timeless film made us THINK of how the consequences of bullying were still present over thirty years ago and how our TRUE similarities are often concealed by an exterior appearance that only “looks” to be different.
