THE WERKLUND FOUNDATION SUPPORTS TEEN TRUTH

Calgary, AB – As many of you may already know, the Werklund Foundation is very passionate about leadership education and the multitude of benefits it brings to our communities and our young people, one of those benefits being to drastically reduce the amount of bullying within schools. Our foundation continues to seek out world-class programs to fulfill our mission. We were privileged to host Erahm Christopher and the Teen Truth Live assembly program this February as he came to two Foundations for the Future Charter Academy campuses to address the ongoing challenges of bullying in our school systems.

Teen Truth Live works with middle and high schools throughout Canada and the United States. In this particular assembly, Erahm presented Teen Truth: Bully & School Violence which is an interactive, multi-media assembly experience that combines motivational presentations with a 22-minute film created by students. The award winning film, Teen Truth: Bully & School Violence, focuses on social issues that can lead to serious consequences while the presentation challenges students to think about how their reactions to these issues impact the lives of those around them.
