“POWER OF A PENCIL”

A picture is stronger than words.

Oh yes, it’s true.

‘Cause you can tell if I’m happy or if I’m blue.

My drawings always look scary ’cause I draw when I am down.

I hate when people think I’m emo and they can’t see me without a frown.

When my mom saw the drawings she got really scared.

But I told her not to worry and that she shouldn’t even care.

My drawings show what I want to do, but never have really done.

‘Cause picking up a pencil is much better than picking up a gun.
