Based on a true story, this powerful film follows Vietnam veteran Richard Pimentel as he struggles to cope with a disabling injury he suffers in battle. Troubled by a society that condones discrimination against people with disabilities, Pimentel forms a unique bond with a man stricken with cerebral palsy and embarks on a mission that changes the course of history. This movie made us THINK about how overcoming adversity gives us the strength to not only help ourselves, but countless others as well.
